Middle School Years
It comes to a shock to me that you passed away Tom; you were literally my best friend in middle school for a while there; many many times after school we would walk to your home and enjoy Xbox together and snack/talk about airsoft. Many many nights you would ask your mom if I could stay over or vice versa and we did the same thing; sometimes we would sneak out and pretend to be soldiers in training.
I remember one time you and Kaleb stayed over at my house during the winter with all of the airsoft gear; and we ran around Manchester all night in full-gear and rifles moving threw yard to yard; and even trying to camp once or twice by making a mini little fire to warm up; or the time we snuck to the middle school in the woods across during after hours and spied on the kids from track? We use to hang out all the time around Manchester just being kids; enjoying the outdoors and talking about one day you wanted to be a Marine and I wanted to join the Army.
I remember your mom taking us up north for like a week or something and we stayed at your grandma's for a few days and at some camp-ground with your dad doing stuff like hunting turkeys or fishing; and riding the golf-cart around. I remember we hosting like 1 or 2 different airsoft parties at my house and having a bunch of our classmates over; and also going to one of our classmates airsoft parties. I remember us talking about airsoft left and right; building forts in the woods; just being pure and innocent kids.
I guess its just weird with you being gone now; because me and you honestly shared alot of memories together as middle-school kids; and we drifted apart/stopped talking as much because you moved from Manchester and my circle of friends changed. The times we had together were pure friendship; and the times we had together didn't involve any of the bad stuff I was getting into in my high school years.
Rest in peace Tom; ill be thinking about you buddy; especially when it comes to my childhood.
