LouAnn Lange, age 81 of Ludington passed away on Wednesday August 24, 2016 at home surrounded by family.

LouAnn was born April 15, 1935 in Flint to the late Howard and Ida (Simmonds) Botsford.

LouAnn attended Bunnell High School in Bunnell, FL. Reverend John Christensen married her and Donald Lange on December 19, 1958 in Ludington, Donald preceded LouAnn in death on March 16, 2007.

LouAnn worked at Gibbs Country House, as well as being a longtime volunteer for the Salvation Army. She loved to travel, cook and spend time with family.

LouAnn is survived by her sister; Judy Conway of Marrianna, FL, daughter; Lori Lynn Jensen-Labelle (Charles Robert Anderson), sons; Donald (Donna) Lange Jr., Patrick Lange, Michael (Jean) Lange, grandchildren; Jodi (Justin) Lewis, Tricia (Jeremy) Linstrom, Heather (Brett) Chase, Andrew Lange, Brian Lange (Daytrina Slater), Kristyn Lange (Mark Malkowski), Scott Lange, Blake Lange, Brittany Hernandez, Jonah Rust (Daniel), Zackariah Lange, Joseph (Rhonda) Lange, Kasey (Johnathan) Hoekstra, Jessica Lange (Jay Kamstra), great-grandchildren; Adrienne Linstrom, Kaine Linstrom, Nathaniel Linstrom, Dylan Gagner, Peyton Chase, Madison Gagner, Preston Chase, Brayden Lewis, Lilly Lange, Makennah Malkowski, Dalayna Slater, Michael Hernandez, Eli Lange, Easton Hernandez, Zarek Rust, Caine Young, Skylar Hoekstra and Kylie Kamstra.

She was preceded in death by her sisters; Patricia Durham and Barbara Kelly and brother; Howard (Buck) Botsford Jr.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life for LouAnn will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 2:00PM at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington with Pastor Brian Blount officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 1:00PM. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed to Salvation Army, Hospice of West Michigan or American Cancer Society.
