Rosemarie Ann Ohse, age 79 of Custer passed away on Saturday July 30, 2016 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
She was born on February 28, 1937 in Reading, PA, daughter of the late Enrico A. and Carmela M. (Schipani) Brancadora. She attended Reading High School and graduated with the class of 1956. Rosemarie later attended Davenport College in Grand Rapids.
On September 14, 1963 Rosemarie married Richard C. Ohse in Elkton, MD. Rosemarie worked as Section Leader in the Food Service Division at Steelcase Office Environment Company for 17 years until she retired in September of 2001.
Rosemarie was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Scottville, a choir member at Our Savior Lutheran Church, member of the ladies Guild at Our Savior Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, Evangelism member President of L.W.M.L. at Our Savior Lutheran Church and was an active volunteer at Spectrum Ludington Hospital and the Scottville United Methodist Church Community Table.
Rosemarie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard C. Ohse, Sr. of Custer; son, Robert L. Ohse of Southwick, MA and Richard C. Ohse, Jr. of Grandville; daughters, Christine Schwartz of York, PA and Richelle VanderWal of Hudsonville; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Rosemarie will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday August 6, 2016 at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Reverend James Schroeder officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00AM until time of service. Final interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Custer at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Rosemarie may be directed to the Our Savior Lutheran Church L.W.M.L.
